Requirements for admission:
A makeup diploma or certificate with a minimum of 80 hours of training OR you must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience as a makeup artist and provide a resume and references in order to enrol. Please note that this program does not provide you with a hairdressing license.
TOTAL HOURS: 108 Hours
TOTAL WEEKS: 13.5 Weeks
Price: $3,500 plus tax. Price includes hair kit. Additional products can be purchased if required.

Just Hair for the Beauty, Fashion & Bridal Makeup Artist will show you the art of gorgeous hair! As a makeup artist in today’s market, you will need to do gorgeous makeup and great hair too! Doing hair will allow an artist to offer more to their clients and to work in the fashion industry as a makeup artist. In this class, you will learn the basics of hair: how to wash, blow dry, straighten and curl hair using a variety of tools and products as well as how to create casual, soft up dos.
After mastering the basics, you will also learn more advanced hairstyling skills and come to understand what techniques and tricks work for hairstyling for the camera. You will learn how to use a variety of methods and hair pieces, extensions and accessories to create edgy, fashion styles or modern, romantic bridal hairstyles. Quick style changes for photo shoots and runway will be demonstrated and professionalism and set etiquette, whether for photo, film or runway will be discussed. This course will also focus on the study of hair designs from the past, from the Victorian era up until the 1980’s and on how you can reinterpret them into today’s modern, structured editorial versions.
