DIPLOMA PROGRAM
Requirements for admission:
A makeup diploma or certificate with a minimum of 80 hours of training OR you must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience as a makeup artist and provide a resume and references in order to enrol. Basic beauty kit is required. Additional beauty products are available for purchase if required.
TOTAL HOURS: 248 Hours

Understand the latest and most cutting edge techniques and tools used in the T.V., film, and special effects industry. Know your role and your duties as a makeup artist on and off set. Be on top of your game and develop a full understanding of how the different cameras and lighting situations will affect your makeup application. Be fully prepared on set with the Do’s and Don’ts of set etiquette. Develop a strong eye for continuity in all of your makeup applications, and learn to properly read and break down a script. Understand and know how to use the language spoken on set, and be aware of who’s who and their importance and what’s what on set. Expand your skill and knowledge of the makeup industry and learn how to create unique characters such as zombies, frozen bodies and corpses. Learn the art of casualty makeup, facial hair & bald cap application and ageing. It’s not all guts and gore, you can create ice angels too as part of the exciting world of special effects.
